Taking the first step
Right now, you are doing something very courageous! You are taking the first step toward a more meaningful and rich life. You might sense that your thoughts and feelings are holding you back from truly living your life. You might have had traumatic life experiences that shaped your life in a way that is unfulfilling and possibly terrifying. You might feel plagued by depression and/or anxiety, feel uncomfortable in your own skin or as if you are not performing to your best abilities. I want to commend you for taking this step and I would feel honored to be on this journey with you, helping you live a more satisfying, engaged and full life.
I’m a Clinical Psychologist in Oakland with over 10 years of experience working with individuals from all paths of life. I received my doctorate from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
I work with adults who are dealing with life stressors, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, pain, relationship issues, life dissatisfaction, addictions, trauma and ADHD.
My approach is trauma-informed, specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while utilizing EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. I strive to create an environment, in which you can heal and grow in order to create a life for yourself that you find fulfilling. It is my passion to help you stop hiding, fighting or struggling, to help you discover the beautiful person you are and move into the world with a new perspective.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!
